The MAHA Spring Classic has been the premier spring show for Highland Cattle since its inception. For many years, it was the 2nd highest attended show in the United States, second only to the National Show held at the National Western Stock Show.
For many years, the show was held at the 4-H grounds in Mercer, PA. Due to AHCA regulations, it was relocated to be held in conjunction with the Virginia Beef Expo for 2015 and 2016.

The 2019 MAHA Spring Classic will be held at the 4-H grounds in Mercer PA.
